Keel Billed toucan (Ramphastos sulfuratus).

  • Also known as the Rainbow billed Toucan.

  • Chicks start off pink then change to a gold flesh colour in a few hours.

  • It is the national bird of Belize

  • The colours and pattern on its beak distinguishes it from any other toucan. No other toucan has a pattern like it as all the others have horizontal colours and a spot patch at the tip.
